We are going to hold our 26h National Cardiology Congress on October 21-24, 2010 at Halic (Golden Horn) Congress Center of Istanbul, European Capital of Culture 2010. In paralel to our National Congress, Global Interventional Summit-2010 (GIS 2010) meeting will also be realized together with the SCAI-Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions as well as the 7th Turkic World Cardiology Congress of the Turkic World Cardiology Association at the same date within the same Congress Center.

There were 4047 attendees in our 25th Congress last year and we expect this figure to exceed this number in 2010. Our Congress has been accredited by EBAC since 2006.

Our Scientific Committee started to accept international abstracts 2008 and 11 percent of the total abstracts received were sent by the colleagues from different countries. The accepted abstracts will be published in the Special Supplement of our official journal TKD Arsivi / Archives of the TSC that is fully indexed in PubMed, EMBASE and IndexCopernicus.

We would like to invite your colleagues interested in sending abstracts in English through the online AbstractAgent™ module of our Congress web site www.abstractagent.com/2010tkd until July 1, 2010; and articles through the online "JournalAgent™" module of the "TKD Arsivi / Archives of the TSC" http://www.journalagent.com/tkd/ .

On the average 50 percent of the abstracts and articles have been accepted in previous years by our Scientific Committee of the Congress and the Editorial Board of the "Archives of the TSC".

GIS 2010 Meeting also accepts abstracts in English till July 15, 2010 online at www.abstractagent.com/2010gis while abstracts to the 7th Turkic World Cardiology Congress are expected to http://www.tdkb.org/?run=abstract
