Call for Papers for Special Issue on Pregnancy and Heart Failure
In 2022 in Türkiye, maternal mortality rate was 12.6 per 100 000 live births according to the statement of Turkish Statistical Institute. Cardiovascular diseases are one of the major causes of maternal mortality which may reach up to 30-40% during pregnancy. However, we have limited data on the risk factors and prognosis.
In order to increase the knowledge on this patient population, Archives of the Turkish Society of Cardiology plans to publish a special issue entitled “Pregnancy and Heart Diseases” in September 2024. We call for original articles, case series and case reports for this issue.
The articles will be managed by the guest editors and on behalf of the journal Associate Editor Prof. Dr. Özlem Yıldırımtürk and all papers will be reviewed with the standard reviewing procedures of the Archives of TSC journal.
This call is open for original articles and case reports only and no review articles will be accepted. The deadline for submission of the first draft of the papers is May 1, 2024.
